ABOUT CAPUMA
The Capilano University Marketing Association (CAPUMA), formally known as the Marketing Association of Capilano Students (MACS), was founded in 2008 by a small group of business students. It has grown in members throughout the years and evolved into CAPUMA in December 2014. Becoming an official collegiate chapter with the American Marketing Association (AMA).
OUR MISSION
As a collegiate Chapter of the AMA, we provide opportunities to unite students and industry professionals. Our association creates marketing related events that promote students' knowledge, experience, and skills to enhance their education beyond the classroom.

A non-profit organization with over 300 collegiate and over 70 professional chapters, the American Marketing Association (AMA) is the premiere community for the marketing industry within North America.
